Short Shaheedi Story
Bhai Bagga Singh attained martyrdom at Sri Darbar Sahib during the Battle of Operation Blue Star.
After Bhai Sahib’s martyrdom, his wife, Bibi Lakhvir Kaur, stopped wearing footwear. She believed that her husband was still alive and that one day he would return. She decided that only when he came back would she wear shoes again. From that day onward, she walked barefoot everywhere — even to her relatives’ homes and family functions.
