Short Shaheedi Story
On October 27, 1991, Bhai Amar Singh Aloarkh was passing through the bazaar of village Bagrol in Tehsil Sunam, District Sangrur. At that time, Bhai Amar Singh was alone and unarmed. Unfortunately, a police informant (Cat) recognized Bhai Sahib, leading to his capture in the bazaar. The Dirba police immediately began interrogating him on the spot. In a swift act of defiance, Bhai Amar Singh consumed a cyanide capsule, attaining martyrdom instantly. His unwavering dedication to the movement led him to choose martyrdom over the risk of torture or betraying any secrets of the Jathebandi.
