Short Shaheedi Story
As per a newspaper report, on the morning of 16 February 1991, Baba Ram Singh Manihala was driving a truck accompanied by three other Singhs. Near the village of Bahmni Wala, close to Patti in the Tarn Taran district, Baba Ram Singh attempted to ram the truck into the car of Mukhtiar Chand (SP Patti). While the SP survived, the truck overturned, leading to Baba Ram Singh attaining martyrdom during this action. The other three Singhs managed to escape during an encounter with the CRP.
