Short Shaheedi Story

On September 15, 1992, 4 Singhs of KCF Zaffarwal were taking refuge at the farmhouse of Bhai Jagir Singh in Mattewal village, sharing a meal. these singhs were; Bhai Sham Singh Mattewal, Bhai Lakha Singh Ram Diwali, Bhai Buta Singh Nathu Chahal, and Bhai Swaran Singh Dhadiala, also known as Japani Singh. During this time, Bhai Buta Singh was feeling unwell. Unfortunately, their location was revealed by an informant, leading to a large-scale police and CRPF encirclement of the farmhouse. Realizing they were trapped, these valiant warriors sought Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s blessings to embrace martyrdom together. As the forces approached, the Singhs greeted them with a hail of gunfire.
