Short Shaheedi Story
On October 9, 1992, Bhai Sahib was staying at a house on Batala Road in Amritsar when an informant tipped off the police. Despite being unarmed and attempting to escape, he was arrested. Taken to BR Model School, an interrogation center, Bhai Sahib endured brutal torture but refused to give any information, responding boldly to police demands for intelligence. Even when approached by DGP KP Gill, who tried to bribe him, Bhai Sahib stood firm in his principles. Enraged by his resistance, the police forcibly administered cyanide, resulting in his martyrdom. His body was cremated under strict police supervision, with no rites allowed by his family.
