Short Shaheedi Story
On June 11, 1992, Bhai Rashpal Singh Chandra, a dedicated leader of the BTFK Sangha group, and Bhai Jagdish Singh Disha were ambushed by police near Ludhiana based on an informant's tip. As they were struck by a vehicle, they attempted to ingest cyanide to avoid capture. Bhai Disha successfully took the cyanide and achieved martyrdom on the spot, but Bhai Chandra was captured alive. Despite enduring horrific torture, including the breaking of his legs and gouging of his eyes, Bhai Chandra refused to divulge any information. On June 12, 1992, Bhai Rashpal Singh Chandra attained martyrdom in police custody.
