Short Shaheedi Story
In Last days of November 1992, Bhai Harminder Singh Sultanwind was also apprehended by Raj Kishan Singh Bedi, SSP Khanna. SSP Bedi interrogated him for about a week, during which he inflicted severe torture by driving iron nails into Bhai Harminder Singh's hands and feet. Despite the brutal treatment, Bhai Harminder Singh did not divulge any information about his fellow Singhs or their hideouts. He continued to chant Gurbani while enduring the torture. On December 4th, 1992, newspapers reported the martyrdom of Bhai Harminder Singh Sultanwind, who, along with an unidentified Singh, consumed cyanide capsules to embrace martyrdom.
